Fall is here, and the studio is buzzing with energy at Velocity Dance Center in Oklahoma City.
Whether your dancer is brand new or already in full swing, October brings fresh opportunities,
exciting sessions and a special promotion you won’t want to miss.

Free Dance Gear for New Dancers
We’re starting the month with a gift. Anyone who enrolls in a class, within 24 hours of their trial
class, during the month of October will receive a free leotard and pair of tights! It’s our way of
making sure dancers walk into class with confidence, dressed for success and ready to move.

Fall Break: October 15–21
Our studio will take a short pause for fall break from October 15 through October 21. This is the
perfect time for dancers to rest, stretch at home and enjoy time with family. We also encourage
families to keep the spark alive by watching inspiring performances online. Professional
companies like American Ballet Theatre and Alvin Ailey offer great examples of artistry that can
motivate dancers of any age.

Boppin’ Minis Session 2
For our youngest movers, ages 10 months – -5 years, Session 2 of Boppin’ Minis begins
October 6. These playful classes introduce rhythm, movement and musicality in an
age-appropriate setting. They’re designed to spark joy, build confidence and create a foundation

Beyond Our Studio: Dance Around the World
October is also an exciting month in the wider dance community. Across the country, companies
are launching their fall season performances—from Broadway musicals and ballet revivals to
cutting-edge contemporary festivals. These performances highlight how dance continues to

or streamed performances helps students see that the skills they’re building in the studio are
